Facade & Other English Eccentricities

Facade & Other English Eccentricities
Walton’s Façade is a wild and witty music-theatre masterpiece – a stunning setting of Dame Edith Sitwell’s nonsense poetry that has delighted and entertained audiences for nearly a hundred years.

Join this small ensemble of players from the English Symphony Orchestra, along with actor Ben Humphreys, as they present, with their usual flair, this incomparable display of English eccentricity. Façade is coupled here with a selection of some of the wildest and wackiest selections from the annals of British song, from Noel Coward’s Mad Dogs and Englishmen to the madcap The Night I Appeared as MacBeth, among many other favourites.

A Sunday afternoon full of fun and frolics is guaranteed!

Please note there is a £2 ticket commission fee included in the price of the ticket.
