Lydia Kenny won the prestigious Gloucestershire Young Musician of the Year in March. She has studied the saxophone with Wes Duggan, Andrew Tweed and Jennie Joy Porton, and recently took her DipABRSM. She was a finalist in Gloucestershire Young Musician of the Year 2017, Two Moors Performance Platform 2017, and a National Finalist in the Rotary Young Musician competition 2015, after winning the Regional Final. Lydia also studies acting with the Young Actors Studio at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. She trains at the Sally Prout School of Dancing and studies singing with Tim Richards and violin with Daniel Neville. She is a member of Youth Music Theatre UK. She also plays violin with the Gloucestershire Symphony Orchestra and her string quartet, The Four of Spades.
