Jiaxin Lloyd Webber (cello) & Rebeca Omordia (piano) – Lunchtime Recitals 2019
Jiaxin studied in Shanghai and Auckland, and is married to the cellist Julian Lloyd Webber. Their recording, A Tale of Two Cellos, was the Number One UK classical album for many weeks and is one of the Naxos label’s bestselling recordings of all time. Nigerian-Romanian Rebeca, described as ‘the virtuoso who cast a spell on Lagos’, is a regular Cheltenham soloist and today we welcome her in a duo performance for the first time.
