Pittville Pump Room Accessibility

The Pittville Pump Room is fully accessible from car park level, and access to the Main Hall, Apse, Bar and Colonnade are all possible without encountering any steps.

The entrance to the building has automatic doors, and the Box Office is located to your right-hand side as you enter the building. There is also an accessible toilet on the ground floor.

The upper floor of the building is accessed using a lift, which enables patrons to access the East Room, the West Room, the Oval Room and the Gallery.

If you are disabled and/or require a personal assistant to accompany you to an event, please advise the Box Office of any access requirements at the time of booking e.g. aisle seat, wheelchair space, leg room, near stage as visually impaired etc. Concessions are available to disabled patrons at some events, along with complimentary tickets for personal assistants.

There may be concessionary rates available at other events – please ask when booking.

There are a limited amount of accessible car park spaces for disabled patrons at the side of the Pittville Pump Room. These can be reserved in advance with the Box Office staff at the time of booking at no extra cost. There are also an additional 150 free parking spaces. If you need help with transport and parking arrangements, please let us know – we may not be able to help, but we may be able to put you in touch with someone who can! There is an Induction Loop system in place in the main hall, and Assistant and Guide Dogs are welcome.

If you would like to borrow a wheelchair for access into your seat in the hall, please contact the Box Office in advance of your visit.
