Technical Information for Hirers

Staff

Included in the hire fee is an Event Manager who will manage the building at the event and be a point-of-contact during the preparation for the event.

Lighting/sound technicians and stage crew required must be requested and paid for by the hirer.

250 by arrangement

Car Park

150 public car park spaces adjacent to Pittville Pump Room.

Hirers and guests are asked to use the car park rather than parking in the surrounding residential area. CCTV security surveillance.

Disabled Facilities

Full access to ground floor – Lift to balcony rooms.
Toilet facility
Induction Loop
Designated parking areas and two wheelchair ramps.

Entrance Dimensions

3 double doors onto main hall measuring:
312cm (height) x 150cm (width),
312cm x 158cm and 312cm x 151cm

Stage

Non-permanent stage is available in sections of 8’x4’ Maximum number of sections normally available: 12.
Height of stage 1’, 2’ or 3’.
No fire curtain.

Lighting

General concert lighting for a basic colour wash.

Any additional lighting equipment required must be requested and paid for by the hirer.

Sound

A basic sound system is available on the ground and first floor for use on spoken word events or playing of recorded music.

Any additional sound equipment required must be requested and paid for by the hirer

Equipment Access

Via car park on level surface.
Ramps and double doors to access the Main Hall.
Via service stairs to first floor.

Facilities

Dressing Rooms.
Bar open to your requirement.
Lectern, flip charts, overhead and carrousel projector, small and large screens, sound system, static and radio microphones, stage lighting.
Office support: at extra cost – fax, internet, photocopying. Ask staff for their expert help on site.

Pianos

A Steinway and an upright piano are available.

Please note: piano tuning costs will be charged to the hirer

Restrictions

Fire Curtain: None
Performance curfew: 1am (Mon-Sat), Midnight (Sun)
Loading Curfew: never during entertainment.
Bar Restrictions: within licensing hours, functions with catering may negotiate.
Noise Level Limit: noise control system fitted, output to 120DB. Please be aware that the venue is in a residential area.
