The ground floor of the Town Hall is fully accessible from street level without encountering any steps by using the ramps at either side of the front entrances – the entrance on the right-hand side has automatic doors. The Box Office is located as you enter the main entrance of the building. It has a low level service counter on the left-hand side.
| | There are accessible facilities in both the ladies and gents toilets, and a further accessible toilet at the rear of the main hall. If you are disabled and/or require a personal assistant to accompany you to an event, please advise the Box Office of any access requirements at the time of booking e.g. aisle seat, wheelchair space, leg room, near stage as visually impaired etc. Concessions are available to disabled patrons at some events, along with complimentary tickets for personal assistants at all shows promoted by the Town Hall. There may be concessionary rates available at other events – please ask when booking.

There are a limited amount of accessible car park spaces for disabled patrons at the rear of the Town Hall. These can be reserved in advance with the Box Office staff at the time of booking at no extra cost. There are also five accessible parking spaces in Imperial Gardens surrounding the Town Hall.
If you need help with transport and parking arrangements, please let us know – if we can't sole the problem we may be able to put you in touch with someone who can!
There is an Induction Loop system in place at the Town Hall (ground floor only), and Assistant and Guide Dogs are welcome. If you would like to borrow a wheelchair for access into your seat in the hall, please contact the Box Office in advance of your visit. The Drawing Room, Buffet, Pillar Room and Conference Suites are all on the ground floor with level access throughout. Due to the Town Hall being a listed venue we do not have lift access to the first floor and balcony seats.
