Access Information

The ground floor of Cheltenham Town Hall is fully accessible from street level without encountering any steps by using the ramps at either side of the front entrances – the entrance on the right-hand side has automatic doors.

The Box Office is located as you enter the main entrance of the building. It has a low-level service counter on the left-hand side.

There are accessible facilities in both the ladies and gents’ toilets, & a further accessible toilet at the rear of the Main Hall. These toilets are only open during an event at Cheltenham Town Hall. Otherwise, there is a public toilet attached to the side of the building.

If you are disabled and/or require a personal assistant to accompany you to an event, please advise the Box Office of any access requirements at the time of booking e.g. aisle seat, wheelchair space, leg room, near stage as visually impaired etc. Concessions are also available for some events for both Disabled patrons Personal Assistants. As well as the accessible parking spaces on Imperial Square, we can also offer an accessible car parking space in our own car park, which can be reserved for a performance (space permitting). Please note that public access to Cheltenham Town Hall is through the front doors and not via the rear of the building where the car park is. Please keep this in mind when deciding to book one of our disable spaces. Please enquire with the Box Office when booking a ticket.

There is an Induction Loop system in place at Cheltenham Town Hall (ground floor only), and Assistant & Guide Dogs are welcome. If you would like to borrow a wheelchair for access into your seat in the hall, please contact the Box Office in advance of your visit.

The Drawing Room, Regency Café , Pillar Room and Holst Suites are all on the ground floor with level access throughout. However, due to the Town Hall being a listed venue we do not have lift access to the first floor balcony seats.
