Choose the Pittville Pump Room to organise your wedding and you can relax, safe in the knowledge everything will be perfect for the most important day of your life.

Pittville Pump Room is a magnificent Grade 1 listed building set in beautiful parkland. Surrounded on three sides by a grand colonnade of ionic columns opening into the impressive hall with its domed ceiling and original crystal chandeliers.

A walk around the charming park provides stunning photograph opportunities, with its extensive open lawns surrounded by gracious trees. Ornate bridges and pathways lead you around the attractive lakes where swans and ducks swim. The majestic Pittville Pump Room sits proudly at the head of the park.

The main hall can accommodate up to 400 guests for the ceremony

and 220 for the wedding breakfast. Upstairs, the gallery leads you to the Oval, West and East rooms, perfect for smaller more intimate weddings. Pittville Pump Room is a truly unique and romantic place for your marriage ceremony and wedding reception. You and your wedding guests can relax and enjoy the day whilst we take care of all the little details.

This includes:
• Red carpet on arrival
• Ceremonies must start no later than 12.00pm on Saturdays in order that we can accommodate an afternoon / evening wedding reception.
• Exclusive use of Pittville Pump Room for 90 minutes
• Fantastic opportunity for amazing photographs

(Maximum capacities include bride & groom, all guests, registrars, photographers.)

• Option of a civil ceremony
• Red carpet on arrival
• Exclusive use of Pittville Pump Room from 2.00pm until midnight
• Tables, chairs, crockery, cutlery, glassware and white table linen
• Table numbers with stands
• Round or square silver cake stand with silver cake knife
• Use of a stage for band or disco*
• Use of a PA system and microphone for speeches
• Dedicated event manager to help you plan your special day
• Fantastic opportunity for amazing photographs
• Beautiful setting of Pittville Park
• Free public car park with 150 spaces

* Non permanent stage is available in sections of 8'x4'. Maximum number of sections normally available: 12, no fire curtain.

Booking Procedure

Your wedding date can be held provisionally for 14 days after which an application form will need to be requested. The completed application form must be returned within 28 days. Once the application form has been received a 50% deposit (non-refundable and non-transferable) request will be sent to secure your wedding date. This payment will need to be returned within 28 days.

Deposits can be settled by cheque payable to "Cheltenham Borough Council" or credit/debit card over the phone. Once your deposit has been received your wedding date will be secured under the terms and conditions. A deposit confirmation letter will be posted.

Three months before your wedding the balance of the venue fee will become due for payment and is also non-refundable and non-transferable.

There is an additional charge payable to the registrar for them to conduct the marriage. We will provide a discreet room for the registrar to interview the bride and groom prior to the marriage to run through the formalities of the service.

To arrange a civil ceremony you should provisionally book your ceremony room then ring Cheltenham Register Office on 01242 532455.

• If you wish to cancel your wedding this must be done in writing.
• Cancellation in writing prior to receiving your 50% deposit - No charge.
• Cancellation in writing received after receiving your 50% deposit - Full charge.

We advise that Wedding Insurance is taken out to cover for any unforeseen circumstances.
