The Team



The majority of comedians, orchestras, bands and events in our two buildings come through the work of our Programmer. Successful programming requires plenty of research and a keen eye for up and coming artists, so we get out and about to shows wherever possible in order to bring the best possible acts to Cheltenham.

We’re proud of our record of spotting new artists before they become household names, playing host to acts including The Shaolin Warriors, Boy George, Michael McIntyre, Brendan Cole, John Bishop, Sally Morgan and Sarah Millican in recent years. Our aim is to deliver a diverse programme that entertains, stimulates and inspires Cheltenham’s diverse community.


Our marketing team is responsible for helping you discover the varied and vibrant events happening in our buildings, encouraging new audiences and keeping existing guests up-to-date with forthcoming events.

Made up of our Marketing Manager, Marketing Co-ordinator and Digital Marketing Co-ordinator, we try to make as much information available as possible about our venues and events. We’re always trying new ways to communicate to you, including through digital channels, advertising, outdoor display, distribution of promotional materials and local media.


We are the friendly faces and voices you see and speak to when you book your ticket. We also look after online sales – if you purchase tickets through this website, they will be printed out and posted to you or reserved for collection by a member of our Box Office team.

Aiming to offer the highest standard of service, we are also here to provide information on events and ensure that your specific need is catered for. We can arrange group bookings and discounts (if the event allows) and aim to cater for the individual needs of all our customers.


We run the day-to-day operation of the venues. Our team is comprised of Event Producers, Operations Assistants, Front of House Stewards and Cleaners. Our team works together to ensure the venues are set to meet a show’s requirements. Our team makes sure both venues are clean and presented to the highest quality and our guests receive a warm and friendly welcome, whilst ensuring all health and safety and licencing requirements are met.

We pride ourselves on delivering first class customer service and together we ensure that your experience is as enjoyable as it should be.


Our Sales Co-ordinator & Venue Sales Assistant looks after guests wishing to hire Cheltenham Town Hall and Pittville Pump Room, whether for a wedding, concert, conference, party, exhibition or celebration of life. We have hosted pretty much every event you can think of in our captivating buildings.


The ability to forecast potential revenue and outcomes from shows is very important when planning our programme. Our Finance Officer is responsible for providing financial forecasts and ensuring budgets are adhered to, in addition to raising invoices, liaising with suppliers and preparing accounts for the Cheltenham Trust management team.
