Bruch’s ever-popular first violin concerto is played by prize-winning young violinist, Charlotte Saluste-Bridoux. Although still studying at the Royal College of Music, she has already performed at the Wigmore Hall and the BBC Proms, and has just recorded her first album of solo violin music. This is a chance to hear an exceptional violinist at the very beginning of her career.
The programme begins with Mendelssohn’s evocative overture ‘The Hebrides’ and concludes with the magnificent second symphony of Jean Sibelius.
The Cheltenham Symphony Orchestra welcomes you to the second concert in our 2021/22 series.
