Cheltenham Philharmonic Orchestra Spring Concert: 125th Anniversary Season

Cheltenham Philharmonic Orchestra Spring Concert: 125th Anniversary Season
This concert from Cheltenham Philharmonic Orchestra celebrates the music of the Finnish composer Jean Sibelius. In 1909 Sibelius conducted the Orchestra in a performance of his work, Finlandia. The concert opens with this piece and, continuing a Nordic theme, also includes Grieg’s well-known Peer Gynt Suite and the stunning second symphony by Sibelius.
