Join the CSO in the magnificent Cheltenham Town Hall for a concert of Classical Masterworks. 2020 marks the 250th anniversary of the birth of Ludwig van Beethoven and he is represented here by one of his finest overtures,Egmont. The Double Concerto for violin and cello by Brahms is lyrical, and expressive music, almost like a conversation between lovers. Finally Tchaikovsky’s 4th Symphony, what a fitting climax to such a concert.
