2019 marks the centenary of the death of Ernest Gimson, ‘the greatest of the English Arts & Crafts architect-designers’.

This exhibition explores Gimson’s furniture, metalwork, embroidery and architecture, including original sketches and finished products.

Your ticket also gives you admission to an exhibition in our Summerfield Exhibition Gallery mapping the journeys of observation, imagination and making in a series of residencies by seven members of the Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen, and work by students responding to Gimson from Gloucestershire College and Our Bright Future with Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust.
