Metals and Enamelling for Jewellery
Over this 4 week course, artist and jeweller Josie Wickes will introduce you to the uses and versatility of metals clays and enamelling for jewellery making.
You will have the opportunity to go behind the scenes, guided by expert and curator Kirsty Hartsiotis, within the Wilson’s collection to take inspiration from our extensive Arts & Crafts department, which houses stunning examples of this highly skilled technique, viewing objects not on display.
The first two sessions will be spent making, filing and polishing your piece of metal jewellery to take away with you, while the last two workshops will focus on how to create beautiful, glossy enamel surfaces on metal.
All materials included.
The workshops start at 10am and end at 12pm.
