We’re back to kick off our autumn season with another fine line up of some of the best Stand – up comedians on the UK circuit today. This month’s clubs features Lou Conran, Peter Brush, Jenny Collier, Adam Beardsmore and Matt Green.

Lou Conran
Lou Conran is one of the newest additions to the Get Comedy Fam! Having trained as an actress at The Oxford School of Drama in the 90’s, she’s gone on to craft her career as a comedian – A high energy storyteller with an instinctive wit that has been wowing audiences and industry alike over the last 15 years.
Lou is renowned on the international comedy circuits for her compere and hosting skills as well as being a favourite tour support for the likes of Sarah Millican, Joe Lycett & Suzi Ruffell.

Lou is a highly requested TV warmup act for the likes of BBC, CBBC, and ITV.
A critically acclaimed writer, she was part of the BBC Writers Room – Comedy Room in 2016 & 2017, and was their writer in residence in 2015 & 2016.
She has also written for shows such as: Hacker The Dog, for CBBC Presentation, The Show What You Wrote (BBC R4), Arboreal Apes (BBC R3)

Matt Green
Matt Green has been performing stand – up comedy for well over a decade, and has appeared at venues all over the UK and internationally. He has taken six solo shows to the Edinburgh Fringe and two to the Camden Fringe, and has written for and appeared in many TV and radio shows, including The News Quiz, The Now Show, Cabin Pressure, Inspector Steine, Cradle to Grave, Fresh Meat, Comedy Showcase, Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace, Comedy Lab, Casualty, Doctors and EastEnders. He also appeared in the films Finding Neverland and Ali G: Indahouse.

Adam Beardsmore
Adam Beardsmore is an up and coming act from Staffordshire who has performed all over the country in some of its best clubs and pubs. In 2018 he was nominated for Birmingham Comedy Festival Breaking Talent Awards and Nottingham Comedy Festival New Act of the Year. He has also appeared on BBC Radio 4Extra as part of BBC New Act of the Year in both 2018 and 2019.

Peter Brush
A highly distinctive performer and deft writer of finely crafted jokes, Peter Brush unassumingly takes the stage with his slight bespectacled frame and scruffy hair, before consummately conquering it with an arsenal of razor – sharp quirky one – liners and peerlessly original routines, all delivered in an amusingly awkward fashion. Formerly a BBC New Comedy Award finalist, and winner of Harrogate Comedian of the Year, Peter performs at clubs all over the UK and occasionally abroad.
He has also written for BBC Radio 4’s ‘The News Quiz’, ‘The Show What You Wrote’ and ‘Newsjack’ and was the tour support for Alexei Sayle’s 2020 show, other acts he has supported on tour include Jonathan Pie, Jason Manford, Arthur Smith and Paul Sinha.

Breathtaking, unique and radiating regency refinement, Pittville Pump Room is monument to the more than 100 years of fame Cheltenham enjoyed as a Spa town, and perhaps the most famous example of regency architecture in the area. The Heritage Café Orangery at Pittville Pump Room offers a range of hot and cold food, from coffee and cakes to sausage rolls and wraps, the café is the perfect place to enjoy views over the beautiful Pittville Park.
