Rebeca Omordia (piano) – Lunchtime Recital 2020

Rebeca Omordia (piano) – Lunchtime Recital 2020
Another opportunity to hear Nigerian-Romanian Rebeca, described by the Guardian as ‘the pianist who cast a spell on Lagos’. She has been a great promoter of the music of John Ireland, which she has performed on Radio 2 and on tour, both as a soloist and alongside renowned cellists Julian & Jiaxin Lloyd Webber, Raphael Wallfisch and Joseph Spooner. Rebeca has made a name for herself as a vibrant and exciting virtuoso, in demand throughout the UK and abroad. She is a strong advocate of Nigerian music and her CD Ekele, released on Heritage Records, was described as “beautifully delivered” by The Sunday Times.
