Customers are asked to download the NHS track and trace app as you are required, by law, to provide your contact details by scanning the NHS QR code displayed by the till area. If you do not have a smart phone, our café staff will manually record your details which we will keep on file for 21 days.

Please be aware that we are not able to serve you unless you have recorded your details.

Garden Bar Opening Hours

Sunday to Thursday 11am to 8pm

Friday and Saturday 11am to 10pm.

Serving pizzas, fries, breakfast baps, draught beer, light lunches, afternoon teas (pre-booked), coffee and cakes, ice cream, wines, ciders, bottled beers and cocktails. Tables and chairs are now available at the Garden Bar in Imperial Gardens and our weatherproof marquee, in line with government guidance.

There’s a full line-up of live acoustic music for you this week at the Garden Bar in Imperial Gardens.

Staying safe

The safety of customers and staff is our top priority. As of Monday 14th September 2020, groups of no more than six can meet socially. Please help us to keep you, and our staff, safe by observing social distancing at all times and the following health and safety measures. All food and drinks will be served in disposable, take-away cartons with disposable cutlery. Please follow the one-way system which is clearly marked and remain two metres apart at all times.

Please dispose of your rubbish either in the bins that are readily available or by taking it home with you.


Cheltenham Town Hall is currently closed.

The Box Office will be open 45 minutes before an event starts.

HOW TO GET HERE

By Car

Cheltenham is located off junctions 10 and 11 of the M5 and on the A40 from London and Oxford. Please be aware you can only exit at junction 10 in a southbound direction, and can only access the M5 at junction 10 if you intend to travel on the northbound carriageway. To find Cheltenham Town Hall follow signs for Town Centre. Please note the one-way inner ring road is now a two-way road.

 By Train

The nearest station is Cheltenham Spa.

This is 1½ miles from the Town Hall and taxis are readily available from the station. Stagecoach’s Service D also runs regularly from the train station to Clarence Street in the town centre, which is a 5-10 minute walk from the Town Hall.

 By Bus

National Express coaches serve Cheltenham Bus Station, which is located in the centre of Cheltenham, just a short walk from Cheltenham Town Hall.

Local bus services operate in and around the town and neighbouring towns and villages.

PARKING

The nearest car parks are in: Rodney Road (111 spaces) pay and display, charges apply 8am-8pm; Regent Arcade, Regent Street (557 spaces) pay on foot, charges apply 8am-12.30am; Bath Parade (80 spaces) pay and display, charges apply 8am-8pm. There are two park and ride services that operate during the daytime. One is located just off the A40 near the M5 and the other is located on the north side of the town at Cheltenham Racecourse.

There is a limited amount of on-street parking around Imperial Square – charges apply until 6pm.

Cheltenham Town Hall has a limited amount of spaces for patrons with disabilities in the rear car park. Please arrange access to these with Box Office staff. There are also an additional five disabled parking spaces on the street in Imperial Square.

ACCESS

The ground floor of Cheltenham Town Hall is fully accessible from street level without encountering any steps by using the ramps at either side of the front entrances – the entrance on the right-hand side has automatic doors.

The Box Office is located as you enter the main entrance of the building. It has a low-level service counter on the left-hand side.

There are accessible facilities in both the ladies and gents’ toilets, and a further accessible toilet at the rear of the Main Hall. These toilets are only open during an event at Cheltenham Town Hall. Otherwise, there is a public toilet attached to the side of the building.

If you are disabled and/or require a personal assistant to accompany you to an event, please advise the Box Office of any access requirements at the time of booking e.g. aisle seat, wheelchair space, leg room, near stage as visually impaired etc. Concessions are also available for some events for both Disabled patrons and Personal Assistants. As well as the accessible parking spaces on Imperial Square, we can also offer an accessible car parking space in our own car park, which can be reserved for a performance. Please enquire with the Box Office when booking a ticket.

There is an Induction Loop system in place at Cheltenham Town Hall (ground floor only), and Assistant & Guide Dogs are welcome. If you would like to borrow a wheelchair for access into your seat in the hall, please contact the Box Office in advance of your visit.

The Drawing Room, Buffet, Pillar Room and Holst Suites are all on the ground floor with level access throughout. However, due to Cheltenham Town Hall being a listed venue we do not have lift access to the first floor balcony seats.
